Well, at least one half of Matt-and-Ben remembers his roots.
The same day that an (undated) photo of Ben Affleck wearing a St. Louis Cardinals T-shirt surfaced, Matt Damon was at Fenway Park to support the Red Sox. He made sure to wear the proper garb, although he passed up a traditional Sox hat for a black version.
Damon could also be seen in the crowd during the Fenway Faithful’s standing ovation when Jon Lester‘s sterling night ended.
Damon wasn’t the only celebrity in the crowd. Former Red Sox champs Mike Timlin, Jason Varitek and Kevin Millar were spotted, as well as Ken Casey, Kenny Chesney, John King, Mike O’Malley, John Slattery and Micky Ward. The Patriots also sent a contingent: Danny Amendola, Julian Edelman, Rob Ninkovich and Matthew Slater, plus owner Robert Kraft.
