The Red Sox continue their quest for the World Series on Saturday when Detroit comes to town for Game 1 of the American League Championship Series. The team was on the field at Fenway Park on Friday to make some final preparations, but it wasn’t all work and no play.
Mike Napoli sprawled out on the pitcher’s mound and caught some rays during the beautiful Boston afternoon, and Ryan Dempster spent some down time working on his handicap. As if that wasn’t weird enough, Jake Peavy brought out his cigar store Indian and groomed its beard.
