Oakland’s O.co Coliseum Goes From Ballpark to Football Stadium in Two-Minute Time Lapse (Video)

The Oakland A’s and Oakland Raiders are both doing all they can to make O.co Coliseum a winning place, no matter what their playing ground looks like.

The Raiders beat the Chargers at home 27-17 on Sunday night, one day after the A’s held off the Tigers 1-0 in Game 2 of the American League Division Series. But the wins didn’t just mean a good weekend for Oakland fans — it also meant workers had to hustle to get the stadium from a ballpark to a football field in between the victories.

They pulled off the feat once again, with the NFL game being pushed back to a later time Sunday only helping. (They also didn’t have to worry about the A’s playing the next day, since Oakland’s ridiculously scheduled 10 a.m. PST game against the Tigers was in Detroit.)
