One-Legged Cheerleader Patience Beard Turns Heads, Wows Fans on Arkansas Sideline (Video)

Patience Beard was born with proximal femoral focal deficiency (PFFD), which resulted in the amputation of her left leg. But that hasn’t stopped her from doing just about anything — cheerleading included.

Beard is a student at the University of Arkansas, but she can be found most Saturdays in the fall cheering on the Razorbacks, as she has been one of the most inspiring members of the cheerleading squad.
