Pittsburgh Hospital Celebrates Playoff Win, Dresses ‘Bucco Babies’ in Pirates’ Onesies and Red Bandanas (Photos)

It’s not every day the Pirates make it to the postseason, but Steel City is taking full advantage of their winning team and making the most out of “Buctober.”

After winning their first playoff game in 21 years with a 6-2 victory over the Reds on Tuesday night, Pittsburgh fans were literally jumping for joy. The city’s celebration spilled over into the next day (in a much safer way) with a local hospital joining the party. Starting Wednesday and running through the end of the Pirates’ postseason run, St. Clair Hospital announced that they will be dressing newborns — Bucco Babies — in Pirates onesies and red bandanas.
