Pat McAfee‘s cool stock skyrocketed in Sunday night’s matchup against the Broncos, but the punter was handed a reality check the very next day.

The Colts punter and kickoff specialist lit up Trindon Holliday during the second quarter, delivering a crushing hit to the kick returner that sent him soaring out of bounds. The punter garnered plenty of attention — and respect — with his first tackle of the year, and the demolition didn’t go unnoticed by the NFL.

While McAfee avoided a hefty fine for the almost-illegal hit, he was instead subjected to a random drug test by the league on Monday. The irony of the timing wasn’t overlooked by McAfee as the punter took to Twitter to share the surprise he found in his locker, as well as his rather modest thoughts on his 6-foot-1, 233-pound frame.
