ALCS Red Sox Tigers BaseballBoth St. Louis and Boston are one win away from clinching their respective league pennants and heading to the World Series. But what time the Red Sox play their possibly decisive Game 6 on Saturday hinges on whether the Cardinals get the job done the night before.

The Red Sox are scheduled to play at either 4:37 or 8:07 p.m. Saturday. They’ll play at 4:37 if the Dodgers force a Game 7 against the Cardinals on Friday night (because Cardinals-Dodgers would take the later slot). The Red Sox will play at 8:07, however, if the Cards win and there are no remaining NLCS games to be played.

With Friday night’s NLCS Game 6 between L.A. and St. Louis scheduled for 8:37 p.m., it could be well past midnight when it’s determined what time the Red Sox and Tigers at expected at Fenway Park the next day for Game 6 of the ALCS.
