Does seeing the logo on Robert Griffin III‘s helmet automatically make you think of Nazi Germany?

Probably not, but that’s the comparison New York Daily News cartoonist Tom Stiglich drew in Thursday’s issue of the newspaper. The cartoon, entitled “Archaic Symbols of Pride and Heritage,” depicts the Washington Redskins’ primary logo alongside the Confederate flag and a Nazi swastika.
