It appears that Matt Flynn will get his third fresh start of the last two years.
The free-agent quarterback, who was released by the Raiders last week, is expected to sign with the Bills by the end of the day Monday, a source told NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.

Flynn was a major disappointment after signing with Oakland this past offseason, attempting just 34 passes over two games after being beat out for the starting job by Terrelle Pryor. In all, he has appeared in just five games since inking a three-year, $20.5 million with Seattle prior to the 2012 season, throwing one touchdown and one interception.
The Bills certainly need help under center with first-round pick EJ Manuel still on the shelf with a knee injury. Thad Lewis and Jeff Tuel have combined to complete 27 of 52 passes in Manuel’s absence, falling to 2-4 on the season with a 27-24 overtime loss to Cincinnati on Sunday.
They’ll enter next weekend’s division matchup with Miami ranked 28th in the NFL in passing yards per game (195.3).
