Patriots Eagles FootballThe move that every football observer knew had to be inevitable may actually be happening.

Tim Tebow will receive “a shot” to play quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Terez Owens reports. The Jags, who are completely awful, just need to make a move to attract some fans to their games and to sell a few jerseys.

Many believe that Tebow, who was cut be the Patriots prior to this season, would bring back immediate interest in the teal and black.

“The NFL’s worst team may just be throwing a Hail Mary,” Owens writes. “According to our Jaguars leaker, the team is going to give Tim Tebow a shot to recapture his dream of playing quarterback once again.

“Our source tells us the Jaguars realize Tebow can only help merchandise and ticket sales, and will bring a major surge in interest to the Jaguars. This is not a football move as much as it’s a financial move, says our insider.

“The Jaguars have nothing to lose. Tebowmania in Jacksonville sounds like a great fit.”

Amen.
