Retired Marine Daniel Clark Delivers Stirring Rendition of ‘God Bless America’ During Red Sox-Cardinals Game 1 (Video)

Game 1 of the World Series may have been long decided by the time the seventh-inning stretch rolled around, but the Fenway Faithful received a late shot of adrenaline courtesy of retired U.S. Marine Sgt. Daniel M. Clark.

Clark, also known as “The Singing Trooper,” took the mic during the intermission and belted out the words to “God Bless America,” punctuating the final verse with an emphatic fist pump that would have made Rene Rancourt proud.
