Shane Victorino Ropes Bases-Clearing Line Drive Off Green Monster to Put Red Sox Up Early (GIF)

Shane Victorino chose a mighty fine time to record his first hit of the World Series.

The Flyin’ Hawaiian gave his grand slam in Game 6 of the ALCS a run for its money in another Game 6 on Wednesday night. With the bases loaded in the bottom of the third inning, Victorino crushed a Michael Wacha fastball off the Green Monster, clearing the bases and putting the Red Sox up 3-0.

The outfielder moved up to third base on the throw to home, celebrating his massive hit emphatically.
