Shirtless Fenway Fan Douses Himself in Soda Behind John Kruk on ‘Baseball Tonight’ Set (GIF)

Fenway Park was an exciting place to be Wednesday night.

The Red Sox shelled Adam Wainwright and the Cardinals to take Game 1 of the World Series, and what better way to celebrate the home team’s victory than by taking your shirt on national television and emptying a bottle of soda on your head.

Following in the footsteps of last Saturday’s Clemson Gameday bro, one fan interrupted ESPN’s Baseball Tonight coverage from Yawkey Way by disrobing and wasting what was probably a $6 bottle of Coke. The stunt occurred right behind an oblivious John Kruk, and it prompted Karl Ravech to transition quickly and awkwardly into the game highlights.
