Stevan Ridley, Vince Wilfork, Matthew Slater Absent From Patriots Practice

Stevan RidleyFOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots had a surprise absence from practice on Wednesday.

Stevan Ridley was missing from the beginning of practice. Ridley did not appear to suffer any injury in Sunday night’s matchup with the Falcons. It it unknown why he was not practicing.

Vince Wilfork and Matthew Slater were also absent, though those two were expected. Wilfork has yet to be placed on injured reserve with a torn Achilles tendon. Slater reportedly has a broken wrist.

Danny Amendola was out on the practice field and looked to be moving much better. The Patriots were in shorts and shells.

Logan Ryan, Aaron Dobson and Braxston Cave were wearing black practice player of the week jerseys.
