Winnipeg Jets fans haven’t forgotten 22-year-old Teemu Selanne, and they reminded him of that Sunday night. In what is likely his last game ever in Winnipeg, the now 43-year-old future Hall of Famer received a standing ovation from the fans who loved him 21 years ago.

The “Finnish Flash” was drafted by the team in 1988 and made his professional debut in the fall of 1992. Selanne played in every game his rookie season and set an eye-popping rookie record with 76 goals and 132 points. He was traded from the team just three years into his career.

Selanne had 675 goals and 1,430 total points entering Sunday night’s matchup with the Jets.
