Texas’ Case McCoy Completes 44-Yard Hail Mary in Final Seconds of First Half (Video)

Mack Brown is fighting to keep his job, and he got a big boost from his quarterback Thursday night.

With Texas trailing Big 12 rival by three in the final moments of the second quarter, Brown elected to take one last shot at the end zone before halftime. Case McCoy, brother of former Longhorns and current Cleveland Browns quarterback Colt McCoy, hurled a Hail Mary from the midfield logo, and wideout John Harris wrestled the ball away from an ISU defender for a 44-yard touchdown.

That score turned a potential 13-10 deficit into a 17-13 lead for the Longhorns as the teams headed into the locker room. Check out the play in the video below.
