FOXBORO, Mass. — It all started when the Patriots posted a picture on Facebook of Tom Brady from Saturday with his middle and ring fingers taped together.

That’s what forced CBS to zoom in on the Patriots quarterback’s hand early in Sunday’s game against the Dolphins. Brady’s hand certainly looked swollen in the shot. Brady says otherwise, though.

“It’s perfect,” Brady said.

“I didn’t know [how] anyone knows what the back of my right hand looks like, but it looks fine to me and it feels good,” Brady said. “I’ll be out there next week; you don’t have to worry about that.”

Brady was 13-of-22 for 116 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Those numbers would be alarming in any other season, but they have become par for the course this year. Brady’s hand looked fine in the locker room.
