The news that the Toronto Raptors mascot has gone down has been taken by some as the loss of a dear friend. If so, here is something to help with closure.

ESPN has turned up a video of the pivotal moment that led to the raptor’s demise, and it appears the friendly dinosaur was injured doing what he loved.The raptor is seen doing a cartwheel and flip in front of children, which is said to be when the person inside the suit tore his Achilles.

Basketball fans can only hope dinosaurs bounce back from leg injuries as fast as humans.
