Berkshire Bank Rewind: Brad Marchand Attacks the High Slot, Gives Bruins 2-0 Lead Over Senators (Video)

The Bruins were aggressive offensively in the first period on Friday night and it paid off with the team scoring the first two goals of the game.

Boston’s second goal began with smart defensive coverage by Loui Eriksson, which was followed by a nice rush up the ice by defenseman Matt Bartkowski, who was able to gain the blue line with ease. He passed the puck to Brad Marchand, who attacked the high slot and skated between two Senators forwards to create a quality scoring chance. He unleashed an incredible wrist shot that beat Ottawa goaltender Craig Anderson to give the Bruins a 2-0 lead.
