The Bruins are a relentless team when they don’t have the puck in the attacking zone, and that was evident in the build up to Torey Krug‘s game-tying goal on Tuesday night against the Stars.

A good pinch by defenseman Adam McQuaid and strong puck pursuit by Reilly Smith and Carl Soderberg helped force a turnover, and when Smith got the puck back, he delivered a perfect pass to Krug, who scored on Stars goaltender Kari Lehtonen at the edge of the crease.

Krug now leads all NHL defensemen with five goals on the year.
