Creating consistent offensive zone pressure is an effective way to score goals against a goaltender of Henrik Lundqvist‘s caliber, and the Bruins have done a good job of this through the first two periods of Tuesday’s game versus the Rangers.
Bruins forwards have also won several puck battles below the goal line to maintain possession and tire the Rangers defensemen. Boston’s constant pressure helped the team take a 2-1 lead into the third period.
