The Bruins opened the scoring in Carolina on Monday night with a great power play that included phenomenal puck movement and strong defense below the goal line.

With Dougie Hamilton running the show at the point, the Bruins kept the Hurricanes penalty killers moving with quick passes that opened up shooting lanes. After some good work by Patrice Bergeron and Loui Eriksson to win back possession of the puck below the goal line following a Hamilton shot from the blue line, the Bruins worked the puck to Carl Soderberg, who made a great pass to Reilly Smith for the goal.

Watch a full breakdown of a fantastic Bruins power play in the Berkshire Bank Exciting Rewind video above.
