The Bruins are one of the better forechecking teams in the NHL, and they used this part of the game to create offensive pressure and a high-quality scoring chance against the Stars in the first period of Tuesday’s game.
Boston forwards, including Patrice Bergeron, put pressure on the Dallas defensemen whenever possible so they couldn’t make a good first pass out of their own zone and begin the rush up ice.
