The Boston Bruins showed a lot of character by recovering from a brutal 6-1 loss on Wednesday to the Detroit Red Wings with a 3-2 comeback victory over the New York Rangers on Friday afternoon at TD Garden.

Despite falling behind 2-1 in the first period, the Bruins dug deep and found a way to win. They were led by some strong goaltending from Tuukka Rask, and captain Zdeno Chara, who earned the fifth “Gordie Howe hat trick” of his career.

Check out the video above to watch head coach Claude Julien and Chara discuss Friday’s win against the Rangers.
