Colin Kaepernick is going back to the Twitter well once more.

After a couple rough performances back in September, Kaepernick began favoriting negative tweets from fans as motivation. Well, after taking about two months off from playing “favorites,” Kaepernick picked up the habit again this week.

Kaepernick, who threw for just 91 yards and an interception in a 10-9 loss to the Panthers last Sunday, began favoriting fan tweets once again on Sunday to help fuel his fire back up — just check his recent favorites list.

After finding success early and often en route to the Super Bowl last season, defending Kaepernick seemed like one of the toughest assignments in the NFL. This season, the dual-threat quarterback has found it difficult to duplicate that success, though, throwing for just 157 yards per game and hitting on just nine touchdowns to six interceptions.

The 26-year-old is clearly unhappy with how he performed on Sunday, and he’s taking extra steps to ensure that those struggles don’t continue — even if it means a little social media mining.

Check out the recent favorites from Kaepernick’s Twitter page below.
