Daniel Sedin will be sporting a slightly different smile this Thanksgiving.

The Vancouver Canucks star was victimized by a high stick just seconds into the second period Monday night, forcing him to do a little self-dental work.

After taking a stick to the jaw courtesy of Kings defenseman Jake Muzzin, Sedin pulled a dislodged front tooth out of his mouth and presented it to the official. The ref needed no prompting, though, as he had already blown the whistle and sent Muzzin off for two minutes in the box.

Getting hit in the mouth is never a good time, but hey, at least Canucks fans will be able to tell him and Henrik apart now.
