All good things must come to an end, and it’s the end of the line for some famous Red Sox beards.
David Ortiz and Shane Victorino went under the razor on Monday at the Gillette World Headquarters in South Boston to shear off the iconic facial hair that fans had grown to love all season. The two teamed up with bullpen cop Steve Horgan and shaved their beards, and in return, Gillette donated $100,000 to the One Fund Boston.
