Will Muschamp can’t be happy.

Florida dropped a big lead late to South Carolina on Saturday, allowing the Gamecocks to score 13 unanswered points to take down the Gators 19-14. Muschamp, who is in his third season as the head coach at Florida, was none too happy about his team’s performance and even took his frustration out on a chalkboard.

Muschamp had his hand taped up with a number of band-aids after Saturday’s loss and was very forthright when asked about the reason behind the injury.

“I hit a chalkboard,” Muschamp said after the game, per the Palm Beach Post. “Dumb.”

Muschamp’s punch happened during halftime of the game, when Florida was still up 14-6. The coach was trying to pump his team up and apparently took his halftime speech a little too far. It didn’t seem to work either, as the Gators were shut out in the second half en route to their fifth straight loss.

The Gators are now 4-6 on the season and on the cusp of missing a bowl game for the first time in 23 seasons.
