Jake Peavy’s Duck Boat Begins Long Journey From Boston to Alabama (Photos)

How do you transport a duck boat the 1,200 miles from Boston, Mass., to Selma, Ala.? On the back of a big ol’ flatbed, apparently.

Jake Peavy‘s post-World Series purchase began its nearly 20-hour journey to the pitcher’s Alabama home on Thursday, hitching a ride on the back of a massive 18-wheeler. It’s a sight that’s sure to draw some puzzled stares from confused Southerners.
