Joey Crawford Screams at NBA Mop Boys for Missing Wet Spot on Floor During Cavaliers-76ers Game (Video)

Veteran NBA referee Joey Crawford is notorious for inserting himself into the game narrative, but his most recent stunt may be his worst yet.

As Lavoy Allen was preparing to inbound the ball during Friday night’s Cavaliers-76ers game in Philadelphia, Crawford stopped play and began barking out orders — to the mop boy.

The young man jogged over from the baseline and mopped some sort of liquid off the court, but Crawford, apparently not happy with the mop job, sent the kid away and waved in two additional members of the stadium staff, who scrubbed away with towels while the crowd rained boos down at Crawford.

Honestly, it’s a surprise the curmudgeonly official didn’t “T” up the entire crew and send them all to the showers.

Check out the exchange in the video below.
