Joffrey Lopul Misses Intended Target, Nails Own Teammate With Accidental Elbow to Head (Video)

Joffrey Lopul‘s elbow hit the wrong target on Saturday night.

The Maple Leafs forward was charging toward Henrik Sedin near the Vancouver net when Sedin swooped under Lopul’s flying elbow, leading the massive blow to instead land on a fellow Maple Leaf.

The miscalculated play combined with Sedin’s sneaky quick duck didn’t work out well for Nazem Kadri who was blindsided by one of his own. The center dropped to the ice, but he appears to be OK.
