Isaiah Kacyvenski can relate to Jonathan Martin.

Like the Dolphins tackle, Kacyvenski entered the NFL out of a prestigious academic institution (Martin is from Stanford; Kacyvenski from Harvard), and he understands how that kind of background can cause a player to become alienated from his teammates at times.

The former linebacker also once shared a locker room with Richie Incognito, the alleged ringleader of the bullying that forced Martin to leave the Dolphins. As a man with insight into both sides of the issue, Kacyvenski stopped by NESN Sports Today on Wednesday to break down the controversy in Miami.

To hear Kacyvenski’s take on the situation, along with comments from current Patriots players Logan Mankins and Matthew Slater, check out the video above.
