High-profile sports lawyer David Cornwell, who’s representing Martin, has released a statement saying his client was attacked physically and that his sister was threatened by a teammate.

The statement, available via Pro Football Talk, includes vulgar phrasing and is not suitable for all audiences.

Cornwell also said that Martin plans to return to the NFL but didn’t say when. Incognito remains suspended indefinitely while the league investigates the complicated situation in Miami. On Wednesday, a few Dolphins players defended Incognito, and quarterback Ryan Tannehill said Incognito and Martin were “best friends.”

The Dolphins’ next game is on the road against the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football.
