JV High School Quarterback Shows Off Acting Skills, Pulls Off Impressive Trick Play (Video)

When it comes to trick plays, 80 percent is how well you sell it, and one JV quarterback in California may have a future in Hollywood after the stunt he was able to pull off.

Jahlil Pinkett is the signal caller for El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, Calif., and during a recent game against Cleveland High School, he set up under center and bent down to take the snap before standing up and walking toward the sideline, requesting a new football.

Pinkett’s performance froze the defense in their spots as he easily made his way down the sideline to score a touchdown with his confused and stunned opponents looking on. Acting chops probably run in the family, though, since it turns out that Pinkett is the nephew of actress Jada Pinkett-Smith.

Check out video below of the most impressive trick play of the season, with a helmet sticker to Yahoo! Sports for the tip.
