Mike Tirico Mistakenly Says Suspended Richie Incognito Committed Penalty on ‘Monday Night Football’ (Video)

Richie Incognito managed to cost the Dolphins 15 yards on Monday night without even stepping foot on the field.

At least that’s what ESPN’s Mike Tirico said in an accidental slip-up. The veteran offensive lineman won’t be suiting up for Miami anytime soon, serving an indefinite suspension while the team attempts to sort out the Jonathan Martin situation. Incognito may be away from the team, but he’s certainly been talked about greatly, leading to Tirico’s slip of the tongue on Monday Night Football.

The ESPN analyst mistakenly attributed an unsportsmanlike penalty — a fitting crime — on Incognito during the first quarter before correcting himself and saying it was actually on center Mike Pouncey.
