LeGarrette Blount has made a major impact for the Patriots on the ground this season. Now, he’s trying to use his position to impact those affected by the tragic typhoon in the Philippines, as well.

Blount, who is in his fifth NFL season, started his own T-shirt brand “Blount Force Drama” a few years ago. His business partner, AJ Dimarucot, who hails from Manila, Philippines, helped Blount design the product and get it off the ground. Now, following the recent tragic typhoon in Dimarucot’s home country, Blount is donating some of the proceeds from his T-shirt sales to the relief efforts.

“[Dimarucot] did a great job,” Blount said, via Nick Underhill of MassLive.com. “What it symbolizes means a lot to me, now I have a chance to make an impact on his life by supporting his country in this time of great need.”

Blount will donate $10 from each T-shirt, which usually sell for $25, sold before the end of the year to the American Red Cross’ relief efforts. The shirts can be bought at AthleteOriginals.com.
