Report: Aqib Talib Makes Trip to Carolina With Patriots, Expected to Play Against Panthers

Aqib TalibThe Patriots will be without Steve Gregory and Alfonzo Dennard on Monday night, but the Patriots should have their No. 1 defensive back againts the Panthers.

Aqib Talib made the trip to Carolina and is expected to play, according to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald. Talib has been out since Week 6 when he injured his hip against the Saints.

Kyle Arrington is listed as questionable for Monday night’s matchup against Carolina. He is expected to play, though, according to a source.

Duron Harmon is expected to take Gregory’s place at strong safety. Logan Ryan and Marquice Cole should receive extended playing time with Dennard out.
