Just when Derrick Rose appeared to be getting back into playing shape, another knee injury has cut down the former NBA Most Valuable Player.
Rose, who missed all of last season recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Rose left Friday’s loss to Portland after stumbling awkwardly in the third quarter. He had to be helped to the locker room and left the arena on crutches.
Rose, 25, was the league MVP in 2010-11 after leading the Bulls to the Eastern Conference finals. He tore his left ACL in the first game of the 2012 playoffs and missed the entire 2012-13 season before returning this season.
