John Fox has been given a clean bill of health and is ready to return to coaching.

The Broncos head coach, who has missed the last three games after undergoing heart surgery, will return to the team Monday, according to FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer. Fox will not be present for the team’s rematch against Kansas City this Sunday afternoon, but Glazer reports that Fox expects to return to coaching duties next week against the Titans, either from the sidelines or from the booth.

The Broncos are 2-1 in Fox’s absence under interim head coach Jack Del Rio, winning close games against the Chargers and Chiefs before falling to the Patriots in a thriller last Monday night. Another win over K.C. — which, like Denver, sits at 9-2 — on Sunday would put the Broncos firmly in the driver’s seat in the AFC West with four games to play.
