Ozzie Newsome did not travel back to Baltimore with the rest of the Ravens.
The Ravens’ general manager was feeling ill after Baltimore’s marathon loss to the Bears. The game was delayed by weather when there were tornados spotted in the area.
“Ozzie Newsome did not feel well after [Sunday]’s game and a team doctor recommended that Ozzie not fly tonight,” the Ravens said in a released statement.
Newsome was taken to a hospital in an ambulance, according to Brad Biggs of The Chicago Tribune. Newsome was sweating profusely after the game, according to Nestor Aparicio of WNST.
