Rob Ryan was stoked about the Saints’ win on Sunday night, even more so than usual since it came against his former employer.

Ryan’s defense held the Cowboys, who fired Ryan during the offseason, to just 193 total yards of offense and 17 points in the Saints’ 49-17 blowout win on Sunday night. The Saints defensive coordinator was so excited about sticking it to Jerry Jones and his former team that he went out for a night on the town and even bought a few locals some drinks in celebration.

The Saints are now 7-2 on the season and looking like prime Super Bowl contenders, especially with the vast improvements Ryan has made to a defense that ranked dead last in the NFL last season. Meanwhile, the Cowboys are just 5-5 and boast the league’s worst-ranked defense this season. Damn, Rob Ryan must feel good.

Check out Ryan celebrating the win with some Saints fans — and apparently one dude rocking a Cowboys hat — in the photo below.
