Sacred Heart’s Moses Webb redefined the term “two-way player” on Saturday.

During a game against Monmouth, the sophomore wide receiver caught a pass, fumbled, forced a fumble, recovered a fumble and scored a touchdown — all on one play. The result was one of the most unbelievable sequences of the college football season.

With Sacred Heart leading 17-7 late in the second quarter, Webb caught a pass down the middle and was stripped from behind by a Hawks defender near midfield. Monmouth’s Ify Asoluka scooped up the loose ball and started downfield, but Webb picked himself up off the turf and gave chase. He quickly caught up with the ball carrier, ripped the ball from his hands, picked it up himself and sprinted the final 51 yards for a touchdown he will not soon forget.

Webb’s hustle proved to be the difference in the ballgame, as the Pioneers held off a second-half rally to win 24-21.
