Russian mixed martial arts fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov has never lost a professional MMA bout, currently holding a 5-0 record in the UFC and a 21-0 mark overall. He fights with such tenacity in the octagon that it’s fair to wonder whether he honed his craft by wrestling bears as a child.
It would be fair to wonder, because that is apparently true.
On Friday, The Big Lead dug up a YouTube clip of Nurmagomedov sparring with a bear cub in his native Russia as a 9-year-old back in 1997. If this video isn’t played in the arena prior to every one of Nurmagomedov’s fights, the 25-year-old’s manager is doing something wrong.
