Nathan HortonWhen the NHL schedule was released over the summer, Bruins fans circled many dates. One (or two) of those dates would be the eventual return of former B’s winger Nathan Horton.

Horton signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets in the offseason, but offseason shoulder surgery and two early-season Boston visits mean B’s fans will have to wait a year to see the winger return to Boston. He certainly played a huge role in helping the Bruins win the 2011 Stanley Cup after coming over in one of the most important trades in recent club history.

Along with Gregory Campbell, Horton came to Boston from the Florida Panthers in June of 2010.
