49ers Send Fans Blatantly Obvious Three-Step Guide on How to Cheer for Their Team (Photo)

Cheering from the bleachers isn’t exactly an art form, but 49ers fans are getting schooled in the discipline, nonetheless.

With the league-leading Seahawks coming to town on Sunday, the team reportedly sent out a letter to their season ticket holders that essentially reminded fans how to be fans.  “The 49ers Home Field Advantage Plan for Gameday,”€ spelled out how to keep Candlestick Park rocking on game day in three embarrassingly simple steps.

The keys to the game — for the fans anyway — include dressing the part, showing up on time and knowing your queues. The Niners faithful may have a ways to go until they reach Seahawks’ 12th man caliber, but surely they know when to stomp and yell for their team without being reminded.

Seattle will be coming into the battle of the top two teams in the NFC West fresh off a blowout win over the Saints, but if this foolproof guide to being a fan isn’t enough to stop them, hopefully Colin Kaepernick and Co. have something up their sleeves — just in case.

Check out the letter below.
