Boston University Hockey Team Skates With Kids in Central Park for ‘Ice Hockey in Harlem’ Youth Clinic (Video)

A month before Frozen Fenway, the Boston University men’s hockey team was able to enjoy some outdoor hockey in a much more relaxed atmosphere.

While they were in New York City this past weekend for a matchup with Cornell at Madison Square Garden, the Terriers spent some time with the next generation of hockey players at the “Ice Hockey in Harlem” youth clinic in Central Park.

It was a return to the good old days for a number of BU players — a chance to get out on the pond again and take a break from the stresses of a grueling Hockey East schedule while also teaching some valuable lessons to some of the city’s younger skaters.

The Terriers capped off a successful Saturday later that night, defeating the Big Red 3-2 for their third win in four games.
