‘Tis the season for obscure junior and minor league hockey teams to make viral holiday videos, and the latest creation to hit the web might be this year’s best.

The Virden Oil Capitals of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League recently released their holiday video set to Andy Williams‘ classic version of “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” It has just about every sort of Christmas and holiday cliche you could want. There’s awkward lip-syncing, varying degrees of willingness to participate, ugly Christmas sweaters, a snowman and synchronized swimming. Quite frankly, this one has it all.

The video also has gained a bit of attention. It was released Dec. 12 and already has 33,000 views even before going truly viral. Expect that number to jump in the coming days and weeks leading up to Christmas.

It’s all coming up Oil Capitals right now, too, as they lead the MJHL’s Sher-Wood Division at the moment.
