Claude Julien Says Bruins ‘Didn’t Take Advantage of a Team That Was Playing Its Third Game in Four Nights’ (Video)


The Canadiens played their third game in four nights on Thursday when they hosted the rival Bruins at the Bell Centre, but despite not having a ton of stamina, Montreal survived a third-period push by the Bruins to earn a hard-fought 2-1 victory.

Boston last played on Saturday against the Blue Jackets at TD Garden and had four days off to rest and prepare for the Canadiens. Even though they had more speed and energy than their opponent, the Bruins failed to capitalize on their many scoring chances in the third period and suffered their second straight loss on the road.
