Courtside Fan Saves Young Girl From Nasty Collision With Bulls’ Tony Snell (Video)

A hustle play by Bulls rookie Tony Snell almost ended badly for one young fan at Madison Square Garden.

The young girl, decked out in Knicks apparel, was right in the line of fire as the 6-foot-7, 200-pound Snell sprinted to save a loose ball. The play resulted in the swingman going flying into the seats, but an older fan sitting in the front row — presumably the girl’s father — was able to grab her and pull her to safety just as Snell went hurdling by.

Unfortunately, our friend here in the glasses wasn’t nearly as lucky, as he took the full brunt force Snell’s dive. The Derrick Rose-less Bulls left New York bruised and battered, too, dropping an 83-78 decision to the lowly Knicks for their third straight loss and the eighth in their last 10 games.
