Kanye West is gonna be ticked.

Shortly after West “cut ties” with Nike because the apparel company wasn’t interested in paying him royalties, a wing of the brand has made a deal with another entertainment star.

Nike’s Jordan Brand is now working with Drake, who has designed some shoes for the brand and told the crowd at his Portland concert on Tuesday night that he’s become part of “the Team Jordan family.” (Drake also became involved with the Toronto Raptors’ rebranding this fall.)

That can’t sit well with West, who said last month that he’s no longer working with Nike after the company said it wouldn’t give him royalties since he’s not a professional athlete. He’ll be working with adidas instead.

There’s nothing like two non-athletes fighting over gold-tinged footwear to mix up the Nike-adidas shoe battle.
